Tibetan Rugs

The Tibetan rugs that we offer are hand-woven on looms by my family in Katmandu, Nepal. Since 1972, my family has created rugs using the traditional Tibetan method of knotting-by-hand. We create our rugs with Tibetan virgin wool from the high Himalayas. Our rug designs use traditional Tibetan, antique, semi-antique and modern designs. The modern designs are unique and created by the artists in my family. If you would like to special order a rug design, we can produce your rug to order. Just email me your special order request.

Tibetan Rug Materials:

Wool: High Himalayan virgin Tibetan wool and New Zealand wool
Dyes: Primarily natural vegetable dye and some Swiss chemical dyes that are color-fastness assured
